A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order. We occasionally offer free shipping to our US customers as part of our on going promotions.

Q: How do i care for my Lace
A: Laces are best cared for by hand washing or dry cleaning them. Do not wash a lace in a washing machine even though most of the base fabric is cotton, the embroidery and stones might be affected.
Q: How do I care for wax prints
A: They are 100% cotton and can be hand, machine wash or best dry cleaned, but hand washing is the best option.
Q: How do i care for my head tie
A: Head tie must be allowed to air dry after wearing before storing it away. You can also iron the headtie when wearing it for subsequent times.
Q: How many yards are in lace or wax fabric
A: The lace and brocade comes in 5 yards and the price online is per 5 yards. The rest of the fabrics come in six yards.

A: We have a variety of colors and designs on all the products listed on our website, but in order to ensure excellent customer service; we only list items on hand. If you will like additional designs or colors please contact Tenuci sales team.
Q: Does your company sew the fabrics?.
A: We do not sew the fabrics, but we currently work with a wonderful lady and company that specializes in sewing African fabrics into your traditional or contemporary designs. Ethel Richards has designed for Vera Wang while living in London and doing the same majic here in Minnesota. Ethel can be reached by emailing us. Q: I want to learn how to tie gele - head tie
A: Watch the video in the how to tie gele section on our home page, but here are the basic steps (Remember it just the basic because head ties come in different designs and requires different strategies). 1: Stretch the headtie around the back of the head making sure that both sides are equal in length. 2: Pull out one of the sides across the top of the head towards your face. 3: Pull the other side across the top of the head towards your face. 4: Bring the left side of the headtie to the back of your head. 5: Bring the right side of the headtie to the back of your head and tie them together - possibly twice 6: Style the headtie on the front of your head to your taste. You can use pins to secure the headtie.
Note: You can also tie from the front by repeating the steps above.

Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of receipt. Please contact us for return authorization prior to returning your item. You can return an item in its original condition for a store exchange only. Please note that all special orders are non-returnable. All items sold on special pricing (clearance) are non-returnable. Any used (even mildly) item cannot be returned.
The shipping charge are non-refundable on all returned US items due to our free shipping offer or when shipping is paid.
